Blue Onion Soup Tureen. Tureen with lid, originally used to serve Cream Soup. Made by Hutschenreuther (Rosenthal). Blue Onion Pattern in cobalt blue and Dishwasher safe! I love the handles and the lid. The history of the onion pattern goes right back to ancient China, from where porcelain first originated in the Ming period (1368–1644). The Blue and white porcelain has had an attraction for many centuries and still is a statement in todays modern design. Manufactured in Germany between 60’s en 80’s. As new!
